It’s a perfect mix and blend of everything you need. We as humans are drawn to what we’re good at and what we like. We avoid things of the opposite, even though they are all necessary to achieving overall health.
We get runners who avoid lifting weights and lifters who avoid cardio. It’s normal! But here at Game Of Fitness we’re here to correct that. Why? Because your body will thank you.
The week consists of an evenly balanced approach to all of it. All you have to do is show up. Consistently. Motivated. And to the classes you would normally avoid. This helps to build your mental strength as well.
Monday and Wednesdays are Game of Conditioning days. Try these fire breathing classes for interval style workouts composed of cardio and weights giving you the ultimate stimulus to become more conditioned to anything thrown at you. Expect dumbbells, barbells, body weight movements and cardio all mixed together.
Tuesday and Fridays are our Game of Strength days. Expect the focus to wrap first and foremost around form (without that you’re only hurting yourself). Once the form is established we focus on building strength from there. Expect workouts with barbells and dumbbells with heavy emphasis on quality movements over quantity. This is where we focus on strengthening the imbalances while enhancing your strengths. It’s a must for longevity.
Thursday and Saturdays are Game of Stamina days. We compare these workouts to being in a 5k …but with weights. The idea is to find a pace, buckle up and settle in. It’s all about developing strategy . These workouts usually last 40-45 minutes so being able to control your pace is key to this member-favorite class.
