Our 2nd Annual 4x4x48

Marathon Challenge

The 4x4x48 is a race that tests mental strength and physical stamina. The objective is to run 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours. This may be done solo or as teams of 2 or 4.

The runs will go off at designated times every 4 hours, so the participants will have to plan for refueling, staying hydrated, recovering and resting within each 4 hour window. If the athletes are doing this as a team they will have to strategize the most effective way to accomplish this challenge.

Athletes may run or walk each segment as long as they accomplish this in the 4 hour window. We will also be offering a row/bike or ski option for those unable to run.

Meet Your Host:

Brad Parotto

Brad has been a lifelong runner and fitness enthusiast having run Cross-Country and Track through High School. He pursued a career in Kinesiology further boosting his love for fitness. He has taken that love and applied it to creating CrossRace which takes an approach of running and endurance and dives into the mental strength one is able to endure throughout the event.
