Have you experienced a plateau in your training? Or maybe you’ve acquired an injury in a past gym?
Quality programming takes time, knowledge and intention.
Good programming keeps you moving, hopefully in all planes of motion. It will challenge your cardiovascular system and increase your strength (again, hopefully).
But great programming will decrease chance of injury, target all muscle groups through minuscule accessory movements and will keep you consistently progressing towards your goals without hitting plateaus or burning out from too much HIIT (High Intense Interval Training).
Head Coach Brad Parotto is deeply passionate about Game of Fitness’ programming. With his Kinesiology and Personal Training background, he is meticulous, never letting a muscle group go unnoticed. You will be sore in places you didn’t even know were possible! But, no matter how small, all of these muscles play a role in overall fitness. He programs for strength, agility, stabilization, proper muscle recruitment/activation, mobility and improved range of motion (ROM).
That is why we decided to offer specific types of classes for each day of the week. We wanted to design a program that would allow you to attend 5-6 classes a week without fear of injury.
Our class schedule is as follows:
-Game of Conditioning:
A class testing different facets of fitness. Be prepared to test your strength and stamina as they are mixed together for a workout that has you constantly challenging your overall conditioning. This is for members who want to improve everywhere and be well versed with anything thrown at them.
-Game of Strength:
Get back to the basics with this class where programming involves periodization allowing for members to adapt and grow with training intensity and volume without plateauing. Come prepared to be instructed and pushed through lifts targeting the development of your overall strength.
-Game of Stamina:
This class will test your mental and physical stamina. Come prepared for workouts that will focus on proving that you have what it takes to endure longer movements at a moderate intensity. This class gets you comfortable with being uncomfortable.
-Game of Will
Weekend class for the weekend warrior getting into their flow at the end of a long couple days. This class will target the entire body and consist of a mixture of strength and conditioning. Sending you into the day appreciating the much needed break and relaxation that comes with the weekend.
-Recovery Yoga (Every other weekend)
Slow down and unwind after a week’s worth of training. This 45 minute class will be designed specifically to help relieve tight muscles, counter muscle imbalances and calm the nervous system after the Game of Will class.
Tuesday/Thursday (at 9:30AM ONLY)
-Lower Body Sculpt
Get ready to target your glutes and hamstrings. Improve your mind-muscle connection and build strength as well as size. The programming will be targeted hypertrophy training with progressive overload to increase strength. This class is great for those looking to decrease back pain, lift and sculpt their glutes, and/or increase their posterior chain recruitment to improve compounds lifts.
